New Statesman New Media Award for Education 2005

City Heritage Guides from the 24 Hour Museum - Each City Guide offers an educational experience presented in an engaging and exciting way, encouraging users to visit the cities. Users are invited to submit their own experiences and stories using Storymaker - a simple online authoring tool. The sites also educate in a variety of ways, not only for searching, aggregating and presenting information, but also building communities through the contribution of individuals. Storymaker and the software infrastructure for the entire project was provided by System Simulation.

Charity Awards 2004; Best Arts, Culture and Heritage project

Show Me the 24 Hour Museum's kids' zone - The Charity Awards, organised by Charity Finance magazine, recognise and celebrate excellence in the leadership and management of charities. Show Me brings together in one easy-to-access website the best digital content for kids from the UK's museum and gallery sector. As well as showcasing the work of others, Show Me staff write topical and fun news stories, and put together resources for teachers and info for parents looking to make museum visits with their kids. System Simulation built the software infrastructure that powers the site.
