London Transport Museum - total access project
We have implemented and integrated the Collections Management System and Image Library System for the London Transport Museum as part of their Total Access Project. Public access web browsers driven by these systems and designed and developed by us, are accessible in the Learning Centre at the museum.
MoDA - Middlesex University
The museum houses one of the world's most comprehensive collections of nineteenth and twentieth century decorative arts for the home. We supplied our collections management system to enable MoDA to build a digital catalogue of its entire collections and make them accessible to researchers and the public in the Study Room and online.

Parliamentary Image Library
The Parliament Image Library was launched in December 2007. We worked with The Stationery Office and the Parliamentary Archives to create an image library based on our ImageIndex+ software.
Pixus - JISC Image Portal Project
Pixus was a joint project with the Scottish Cultural Resources Access Network financed by JISC (Higher Education's Joint Information Systems Committee). The project created and developed an advanced portal system delivering object level access to a series of independent image services for higher education, while also meeting a range of standards and requirements for interoperability.
We are working with Plymouth University to combine our museum software with the University's panoramic, 3-D gallery layout systems to produce a unique and powerful new software system.
Poisonous Plants and Fungi in Britain and Ireland - RBG Kew
Using innovative techniques SSL developed the identification engine that enables non-botanists to correctly identify potentially harmful plants and fungi from a limited sample such as a few berries, leaves or a flower. Searching is based on visual identification confirmed by matching the samples against high quality images.
Postcodes - Museum of London
Postcodes is a website commissioned by the Museum of London which enables Londoners to learn about historic objects found in their own neighbourhood. Visitors to the site can also share their stories, memories and photographs, using the website's StoryTeller facility. The stories are subsequently published on the site.
